Disaster Preparedness Services for Indonesian Emergency Management Agency

As part of the 2013 PACOM Joint Exercise GEMA BHAKTI, DP&R will be leading the effort to assist the Indonesian emergency management agency, BNPB, with the self-assessment of disaster preparedness in early June. This effort will be complementary to a series of HA/DR-related training exercises primarily focused on disaster response. The resulting assessment report will help BNPB and Indonesian military to consider a multi-year plan to increase its disaster preparedness and resiliency and measure the improvements through future re-assessments. DP&R will also be part of the AGCMEP Team assisting in the conduct of GEMA BHAKTI table top exercise occurring concurrently.
