DP&R facilitated the Hawaii National Guard senior leader off-site workshop. The workshop took place at the Regional Training Institute at Bellows Air Station in early May. The objectives of the workshop was to: 1) Improve the overall health of the HING through new ideas and open and creative approach to problem solving and problem management; 2) Gain a collective understanding of future operating environment; 3) Align the strategic plans of the HIANG and HIARNG to Joint Headquarters, State Department of Defense and Governor’s priorities; 4) Build/develop the major components of Joint Headquarters Strategic Plan. Based on the participants’ feedback, the workshop was a tremendous success and will lead to more effective planning and setting objectives for the Hawaii National Guard. DP&R continues to assist the HING to solve and manage the complex, adaptive challenges ahead in building their future force.
