DP&R welcomes Dan Roper and Jay George to our team as new Directors.  As Director, Strategy and Plans, Dan Roper brings over 30 years of experience as a highly-rated multi-skilled executive with expertise in planning and operations.  An alumnus of the premier graduate-level planning program, the US Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies, Dan is an expert in the history, theory, and doctrine of strategic planning and Operational Art. Dan has successfully leveraged his years of experience with the US Department of Defense (DOD) in leading teams of US and international partners at policy and strategic levels to develop and implement solutions to complex operational problems. 

As Director, Training and Education, Jay George has over 27 years of experience in executive leadership, training, operations, human resource services, logistics, maintenance, and program management. Jay has excelled in executive management positions with US DOD organizations comprised of up to 5,000 personnel, providing service to over 22,000 customers. Jay brings to DP&R a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Pacific Rim, including Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, American Samoa and Saipan, and in US national level negotiations through his work with the US DOD in Southeast Asia.
